Watch Party lets you watch a YouTube video together, in sync - the host hits play and everyone's player follows along, so a pause, a seek, or a change of video happens for the whole room at once.
Every room has a live chat sidebar and a "who's watching now" list, so it feels like sitting on the same couch. Open a public room, invite your connections, share it with a group, or keep it just for you - the same audience choices as the rest of Jane.
How it works
- Start a room from the lobby - give it a title, pick who can join (public, your connections, a contact group, or only you), and choose a starter video from the pool or paste any YouTube link.
- You're the host of rooms you start. Your play, pause, seek, and change-video actions broadcast to everyone; guests' players reconcile to your spot, and late joiners drop in near the live moment.
- Chat lives in the sidebar and updates the instant anyone posts. The presence list shows who's in the room right now.
- Share the room's video into your Share feed as a reflection in one tap, or close the room when you're done so it leaves the lobby.
