Live
Webcam is one-on-one live video with another member. Tap Start random and you're matched with someone who's waiting right now - camera on, chat on the side, and a Next button when you're ready to meet the next person.
You can also call a connection directly - pick someone from your accepted connections and Jane rings them with a push and an Activity item. When they open the link, you're face to face. Be kind - you can skip, block or report anyone at any time.
How it works
- From the lobby, tap Start random to join the waiting queue. The moment another waiting member is free, you're matched 1:1 and the video connects over WebRTC. Tap Next to skip to someone new, or End to leave.
- To call a connection, choose them from the picker. Jane creates the call and notifies them; the call waits until they join, and you can cancel any time.
- Every call has a live chat sidebar. Messages are ephemeral - they live only for the length of the call and are never stored.
- You're only ever matched with signed-in members who are waiting at the same time - never the open internet. Block or report anyone and you'll never be matched with each other again.
