Where in the World
You're dropped into a 360° photograph somewhere on earth. Look around, work out where you are, and drop a pin on the map.
Five locations a day - the same five for everyone, so the leaderboard is a real race. Free play deals another five whenever you want more; those are practice rounds and never touch the leaderboard.
Every panorama is a freely licensed photograph from Wikimedia Commons, shown with its photographer and licence. Nothing is generated.
How it works
- Open Where in the World for today's first location.
- Drag inside the panorama to look around - the whole sphere is there, including behind you.
- Click the map to place your pin, then lock it in.
- The closer you are, the more you score. Five rounds later you get the map of how you did, and your score lands on the leaderboard.
- Share a spoiler-free result link, or let Jane draft a challenge nudge to a connection - they get the same five locations you had.
