Position OverviewThe Associate, After School Assistant Program Director is a key member of KIPP NYC's After School Programs team, supporting the successful day-to-day operation of a high-quality after school program that promotes academic enrichment, youth development, and social-emotional learning.Reporting to the Program Director, the Associate, After School Assistant Program Director partners closely with school leaders, after school staff, students, and families to ensure programs operate efficiently, remain compliant with Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) requirements, and provide a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for every student.This role plays a critical part in supporting program operations, maintaining compliance systems, coordinating administrative processes, and helping create joyful after school experiences that reflect KIPP NYC's commitment to educational excellence and student success. This role also serves as a key operational partner to the Program Director and helps ensure continuity of program leadership during the Program Director's absence.This is a full-time, in-person position requiring on-site work five days per week at one of our KIPP NYC campuses across the Bronx, Brooklyn, or Manhattan. Work schedules typically occur during after-school hours on weekdays, with occasional evening or special event responsibilities as determined by program needs. Your primary work location will be determined by your leadership team.
