Learn more on our website Chevron.com.What You’ll Actually DoChevron is hiring Land Intern roles at various operating locations across the U.S, including:Houston, TXCovington, LAMidland, TXGreeley, COAs a Land Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience working within an asset team in one of Chevron’s dynamic business segments. You will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, real-world projects with direct business impact.In this role, you will:Develop a strong understanding of the upstream and downstream oil and gas business through a summer-long Land project, along with smaller assignments to provide exposure to multiple Land teams.Gain insight into Chevron’s operations, people, and culture including exposure to both traditional oil and gas and New Energies.Support negotiations with external partners and landowners and assist in drafting agreements related to oil and gas exploration and production activities.Perform title research and analysis for exploration, development, workover, and plug and abandonment wells.Provide Land support to multidisciplinary teams to help stakeholders make informed, strategic business decisions on agreements and land ownership matters.Interact with federal and state agencies on oil and gas regulatory issues.Work closely with a dedicated mentor and buddy who will provide guidance, support, and professional development throughout the summer.Present your project and key learnings to senior leadership at the conclusion of the internshipWhat’s Next After the InternshipTop‑performing interns may be invited back—or offered a full‑time role after graduation.New grads who join Chevron fulltime enter the Horizons Program, a structured early‑career experience that includes:Formal training + on‑the‑job learningMentorship from experienced professionalsMultiple job assignments and possible location rotationsYou can build a career as a technical expert, people leader, or both.What You Must HaveThe following qualifications are required:Effective communication skills: Express thoughts effectively, both verbally and in writing.Desire to learn and provide/accept feedback: Asks questions and seeks out knowledge from varying Land professionals to truly learn the Land business.
