We are seeking a co-op who thrives on thinking outside the box, delves deep into details, and is passionate about exploring innovative approaches to solve business problems. If you’re ready to contribute to our initiatives and be part of a team that values continuous learning, we want you on board!What will you do?Be able to quickly learn new tools and technologies and use them in the daily analytics exercisesProvide analytics support to all Enterprise Control Testing. This involves collaborating proactively with various business and technical units to identify business opportunities and designing innovative solutions to optimize processes and promote informed decision-making. Implement heuristic approaches, data mining methods, and statistical analysis using Python and/or other tools.Leverage visualization tools/packages to effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.Enable data-driven insights to be translated into decisions and actions by telling a convincing story.Working on challenging initiatives using statistics or heuristic approaches that help solving the problem at hand.What do you need to succeed?Must-haveCurrently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on Data/Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Engineering discipline or equivalent.Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environmentStrong coding abilitiesStrong data profiling, cleaning, mining and technical documentation skills.Strong working knowledge of Python and SQLHands-on experience with git/version controlNice-to-haveExperience with:Linux environment and shell scripting is a plusNLP-based algorithmsAI solutions/development is a plusSoftware engineering background with a focus on statistics and/or analyticsWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
