Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As a Reporting Analyst co-op student, you'd support RBC's business teams by turning raw data into actionable insights through reports and dashboards.What will you do?Work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsContributing to defined projects or tasks under direct supervision.Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from enterprise systemsDevelop Python scripts to extract, transform, and build reportsDocument all code, processes, and query logic or upgrading existing procedure manuals.Assist various business teams with ad-hoc reports and data requestsWhat do you need to succeed?Must-have Currently enrolled in Undergraduate degree with focus on Mathematics, Statistics, IT, or Computer Science Programming skills in SQL, Python, R and/or SAS and/or other data analysis toolsAbility to perform complex data analysis on large volumes of dataFamiliarity with data visualization software such as SAS VIYA, Tableau, etc.Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)  Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environmentNice-to-have  Ability to learn and absorb new concepts (in business and in systems) quickly and apply new knowledgeDebugging data issues, optimizing thinkingFamiliarity with Git/GitHubWhat’s in it for you?
