How will you make a difference?
The Accounting Manager reports to the Company Controller. The Accounting Manager position is responsible for managing the general accounting function. Oversee the completion of ledger accounts and financial statements. Supervision of A/R and A/P. Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.
What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) or equivalent with four to ten years related experience in a highly diverse manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of two years supervisory role in a lean accounting department, preferable of A/R and A/P functions.
- Experience with fully integrated ERP systems - Oracle R12 (or similar software), including Essbase and Hyperion Financial Management reporting systems.
- Experience collaborating with suppliers on capacity, process improvement, and delivery recovery activities.
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment; participation in kaizens and value stream mapping exercises.
- Strong Microsoft Office computer skills – Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, Power Pivot, Power Query, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
