Administrative Assistant

Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

We are looking for administrative support to assist our engineering team with day-to-day operational and coordination tasks. The role is intended to offload administrative work from engineers, allowing them to focus on core technical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow up on purchases and orders with subcontractors and vendors

- Manage receipts and invoices using our online expense and accounting tools

- Support travel planning and logistics for team members when required

- Assist with planning and coordinating occasional team and site events

- Handle other ad hoc administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

- Previous experience in an administrative, operations, or support role

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Comfortable working with online tools for invoicing, expenses, and coordination

- Clear written and verbal communication skills. English is the working language in the company. German is a big plus.

- Ability to work independently and manage recurring workload
