If that resonates with you, we would like to speak to you.Hiring Range: $129,000 - $170,000 annuallyActual pay depends on specialty, experience, and performance.Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner) to join our Hospitalist team at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia.As a Hospitalist APP, you will work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to provide comprehensive inpatient care. The APP serves as a primary provider for hospitalized patients, managing medical care from admission through discharge while supporting quality, safety, and patient-centered outcomes.Position ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients.Perform patient assessments, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated.Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic studies and laboratory results.Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nursing staff, case managers, and ancillary departments to ensure coordinated patient care.Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.Facilitate safe and effective discharge planning and transitions of care.Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives.Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with organizational standards.QualificationsAcute Care Nurse PractitionersGraduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.Current or eligible Virginia Nurse Practitioner license.National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).Physician AssistantsGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.Current or eligible Virginia Physician Assistant license.Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).Licensure & Regulatory RequirementsEligible for Virginia licensure at the time of hire.DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start date.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred based on practice setting.Preferred QualificationsPrevious hospital medicine or inpatient clinical experience.Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Experience working within multidi...
