Together, these specialists deliver a complete patient centered program of care for patients with cardiac conditions. The program delivers care in the outpatient setting throughout Central Oregon and inpatient hospital care at the St. Charles Bend campus.POSITION OVERVIEW: Cardiothoracic Surgery APP is responsible for providing medical, surgical, and postoperative management for Cardiothoracic Surgery patients referred to the clinic and within the hospital setting. Cardiothoracic surgery APP will work in collaboration with other medical specialties to assess and manages patients following established standards and practices.Work schedule: Full time Advanced Practice provider shall complete a minimum of 156 clinical shifts per year. This will be a blend of hospital rounding, surgical assisting and scheduled clinic visits including charting of patients and other necessary duties. A shift consists of a combination of the following:Hospital CT service rounding, consult and discharge coordinationOR/procedural assistingOutpatient clinicurgent/emergent surgical case responsibility and callCall expectation: APP will participate in the cardiothoracic surgery APP call rotation, which is assigned based upon the schedule rotation.
