Overview / Role SummaryRiverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Full-Time Urology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Urology Specialists on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of experienced urology providers delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in both outpatient and procedural settings.Responsibilities· Provide comprehensive urologic care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning· Perform and assist with urologic procedures within scope of practice· Manage acute and chronic urologic conditions in both clinic and hospital settings· Conduct patient education, counseling, and follow-up care· Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes· Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record· Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical best practicesRequired QualificationsNurse PractitionersGraduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner programCurrent or eligible Virginia Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licenseNational board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)Physician AssistantsGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant programCurrent or eligible Virginia Physician Assistant licenseNational certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)Licensure & Regulatory RequirementsEligible for Virginia licensure at time of hireDEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start date)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred, based on practice settingHighlightsFull Time OpportunitiesComprehensive Health Benefits and Retirement PackagePhysician Time OffMalpractice CoverageCME AllowancePlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
