Whether it's helping customers build and maintain infrastructure, design and construct buildings, optimise global supply chains or map the world, Trimble is at the forefront, driving productivity and progress.What Makes This Role Great:This position offers a unique end-to-end perspective on product development, allowing you to transition from high-tech office analysis to real-world field data collection. You will play a critical role in the release of Trimble Access software, directly influencing the user experience for a global customer base of surveyors and other geospatial specialists.Key Exciting ResponsibilitiesExecute end-to-end system testing from a customer perspective, including mock project setups and off-site field data collection. Field test with current and in-development Trimble hardware.Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to provide feedback on new features and verify software fixes within an Agile development cycle. Drive quality by identifying and reporting bugs or system improvements for our cloud-based workflows and connected Trimble products.Essential Skills & ExperienceCurrently working towards a tertiary qualification in Surveying, Geography, Surveying, or a related field. Effective verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to work within a highly collaborative team. High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a changing technical environment. A willingness to work outdoors for field-based testing and data collection activities.Must be legally authorised to work in New Zealand.Bonus Points ForFamiliarity with Trimble Access.Experience making software - whether your own or with others.A passion for user-centric design and the curiosity to explore how technology can simplify complex field workflows. Experience with cloud-based software systems or mobile application testing.Internship Benefits:12-week paid internship.Assigned Buddy/Mentor.Test Site Visit to experience our construction technology.Two week break over the Christmas/New Year's period.Be part of a professional team.Enjoy social chat and events with other interns.Receive Trimble branded merchandise.Free membership to the Trimble Social Club.Join a cohort of over 20 interns.Logistics:Location: Christchurch, NZ, In Office/FieldTravel Requir...
