Job Description SummaryThis entry-level manufacturing Shot peen Apprentice role supports machined parts production within an assigned work cell under direct supervision. The position requires a strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical plans, process sheets, standard work, and quality documentation. The employee is expected to safely use basic hand tools, perform visual inspections, clean parts, assist with preventive maintenance, and complete required certifications such as initial shot peen practical certification and CVP. The role emphasizes adherence to defined processes, recognition of conforming versus nonconforming product, and developing a basic understanding of lean principles, quality standards, and process concepts such as saturation curves.
