Job Description
Principal Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders from placement through delivery and ensure timely supply of products.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate delivery schedules, lead times, and other commercial conditions.
- Monitor open POs, backlog, delivery status, and inventory to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to expedite orders and resolve supply or delivery issues.
- Work closely with Sales and other internal teams to understand business requirements and ensure appropriate product availability.
- Optimize inventory levels while balancing customer demand, supply availability, and business requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline PO and supplier management processes.
- Proactively communicate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations.
