The Sixth Street Asset Based Finance group is at the forefront of asset/platform investing and origination, working across diverse financial markets, including residential and commercial mortgages, consumer assets, commercial equipment, renewables and energy finance, infrastructure debt and transportation. The Asset Based Finance team is a critical strategic capital partner and investor to companies and management teams and a solutions provider at scale. The Role Sixth Street is seeking a dynamic Transaction Manager to join our expanding ABF team. In this role, you will structure and manage transactions, focusing on asset-backed financing, securitizations, and platform investments across various asset classes. You will work side-by-side with the ABF business driving and reviewing diligence, streamlining transactions processes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and asset eligibility requirements, managing life cycle events and coordinating with rating agencies. Candidates should have strong interpersonal, analytical and writing skills, superior academic credentials as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Direct transaction processes including reviewing due diligence and legal documentation, manage licensing and filing requirements for transactions and deal participants, review asset eligibility and standardizing transaction template forms Serve as a trusted team member, aiding in closing credit financings, securitization transactions and other business arrangements Coordinate with critical third-party relationships including diligence providers, underwriters, custodians, rating agencies, trustees and external counsel Provide insights and support on program improvements and innovations and orchestrate efficiencies in transaction cycle workflows Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the ABF business and broader Sixth Street platform (continuous interaction with legal, ESG committees, tax, KYC, capital formation, and compliance) What We Value Experience in financings, securitization and capital markets transactions preferably with a major law firm or corporate law department Strong understanding of legal and regulatory policy issues affecting securities and ABS, MBS, and CMBS markets Creativity and problem-solving skills to effectively advise teams in collaboration with counsel and internal stakeholders Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously Juris Doctor (JD) degree and membership in good standing in a state Bar with a minimum of 3 years of experience Compensation The base salary for this position is expected to be between $165,000...
