Acts as guide to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.ResponsibilitiesManagementProvides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributorsEnsures the team is caring out responsibilities in a timely manner and projects are progressing, as expectedManages personnel details including salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and developmentAssists with testing and coordinating projects and maintenanceProject / Infrastructure Site ManagementPlans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the data centers. Develops and manages routine operational plans. Meets targets typically against a monthly planProvides input and guidance towards budgetOverall site capacity supervisionVendor ManagementOversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standardsTestingAssists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems Incident ManagementCommunicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incidentQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience (5+).
