Job DescriptionOverviewIf you are looking to work on a large-scale, multidisciplinary water treatment project and join an inclusive and diverse team you can rely on, then we are the employer for you!Your RoleAs part of the Water & Wastewater and Construction Management teams in our Vancouver office, you will play a key role on construction projects as we build essential infrastructure.  Typical responsibilities include:Provide resident construction oversight for water infrastructure projects.Conduct regular meetings with the Contractor, Engineer, and Owner; prepare minutes and track action itemsMonitor construction schedule and work with the Contractor to avoid and/or mitigate delaysMonitor the Contractor’s safety program and implementationCoordinate Engineer inspections and third-party testingSupport Quality Assurance and document Non-ConformanceImplement and maintain a change order management systemCoordinate RFIs and SubmittalsReview RFI and Submittals as needed from the Owner’s perspectiveMonitor construction costs and support progress payment evaluationsPrepare monthly reports to summarize Contractor progress, performance, and costsCoordinate testing and commissioning activitiesAbout YouBachelor's degree or Technologist diploma in Civil Engineering, Process Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Experience as a construction coordinator, assistant CM, or similar role (strong preference for Canadian or American experience)Engineer, EIT, or technologist with 4-10 years of experience, with minimum 1 year in constructionStrong ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writingAble to commit to full days on-site, typically 4-5 days per weekReliable site presence and committed to meeting deadlinesValid driver's license and access to a vehicle.Rewards & BenefitsDiscover the compensation and benefits that support you throughout every stage of your life and career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.Enjoy competitive compensation, meaningful recognition, and a comprehensive suite of flexible benefits designed to support your health, well-being, financial security, and lifestyle needs.Develop your potential through a wide range of training opportunities and professional development programs that enable you to expand your skills and expertise.Benefit from our hybrid work culture, generous leave policies, and an environment that encourages a healthy work-life balance.Get the recognition you deserve.
