Assistant Manager, Internal Audit
The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong. Responsibilities:Conduct operational audits and value-for-money reviews, and perform follow-up reviews on the implementation of audit recommendationsIdentify control deficiencies, develop practical solutions, and prepare professional audit reportsSupport corporate and divisional risk assessments, and coordinate risk monitoring as well as professional risk management reporting processesEnhance internal audit and risk management processes using data analytics and generative artificial intelligence (GenAI)Review updates to the Corporate Operational & Authorisation Manual and Corporate Policies and Procedures ManualSupport the implementation and monitoring of the whistle-blowing mechanismProvide other departmental supports, such as preparation for Audit Committee Meetings and Risk Management Committee Meetings, liaison with the ICAC, etc.Requirements:Degree holder in relevant disciplines with recognised professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, CFA or equivalent)Minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in internal audit, risk management, governance and/or complianceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good business acumen and attention to detail and accuracyGood presentation, communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skillsAble to manage multiple priorities, deliver quality work on time, and work collaboratively in a team environmentExperience in data analytics or audit toolsIntegrity, professionalism, and innovation are the key required competenciesClosing Date of Application:10 August 2026How to Apply?Please click the "Apply" button.
