The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships and raising institutional capital.Primary ResponsibilitiesBusiness development and sales coverage of institutional investors, consultants, intermediaries and channels in JapanRelationship management and client service for existing clients and institutional investorsDevelop a thorough understanding of the firm’s investment strategies and competitive positioning across fixed income and credit, equities, multi-asset and alternativesPlanning, management and execution of roadshows with portfolio managersEffective follow-up opportunities and coordination of due diligence with investment teams and supporting functional areas of the firmCollaborate effectively with internal and external clients to develop business relationshipsDevelop deep understanding of investment management needs of clients and prospectsCoordinate and assist in developing new investment management mandates for clientsContribute to the planning and implementation of strategic marketing plans to build the profile and brand of the firm and generate business opportunitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree holder or aboveAt least 5 years of experience of Institutional Sales or Product ManagementSolid foundational knowledge of finance and Broad, well‑rounded understanding of private assetsNative in Japanese and business level of EnglishSelf‑starter with the ability to work independentlyOpen‑minded and respectful of diversity and different perspectivesStrong understanding of Japanese culture and business practicesStrong deadline and time‑management skillsHunger for resultsAbility to rapidly grasp and internalize new strategiesAbility to think holistically to set appropriate prioritiesWillingness and ability to proactively expand responsibilities beyond a de...
