This position will play a key role in establishing the Sustainability Data & Energy Analyst plays a critical role in analyzing, forecasting, and optimizing the company’s energy usage, utility spend, and sustainability performance. This position leads complex data modelling, energy performance analysis, and reporting initiatives that support cost reduction, operational efficiency, carbon reduction strategies, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong technical analytics skills with deep knowledge of energy systems, utility data, emissions accounting and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of colleagues, from facilities technicians to senior leaders.Where you come in: You collect, clean, and analyze utility and resource consumption data across facilities, assets, and operations. Resources to include, at a minimum, fuels, gases, chemicals, water, waste and energy.You develop dashboards, performance indicators, and analytics tools to monitor energy and resource consumption, trends, anomalies, and savings opportunities.You conduct variance analysis, cost modeling, and root cause investigations of energy performance deviations.You build and support modelling for Scopes 1, 2, 3, water and waste goals, configure models to ensure dynamic conditions are incorporated, assumptions documented, and risks to performance are evident and monitored.You build and maintain energy forecasting models for electricity, fuel, thermal energy, and peak demand, incorporating traditional and clean energy sources.You support financial planning with ener...
