About this Role
We are expanding our team of engineers that owns and operates this extensive technology platform. As a member of this team, you will build, enhance, and support a wide variety of micro-services that enable financial portfolio construction, data integrations to connect diverse systems, and real-time operational workflows. You will work with your team and your stakeholders to ensure that platform capabilities address business needs in a complete and timely manner, with validated quality.
Requirements
•
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, STEM or similar technical field, OR equivalent practical experience
•
2-5 years of professional software development experience
•
Strong Python or C# experience
•
Experience building and supporting production applications, services or APIs
•
Strong SQL / relational database experience (MySQL preferred)
•
Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP, AWS strongly preferred)
•
Docker/Containers experience (experience building, packaging and deploying containerized applications)
•
Experience with standard software development practices (Git/Source Control, CI/CD, Testing, Debugging/troubleshooting)
Preferred Requirements
•
AWS Development (Lambda, ECS/EKS, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, RDS, CloudFormation or Terraform
•
Experience building cloud-native or serverless applications
•
Experience developing APIs and backend services
•
Experience with Pandas and NumPy
