Job description – Axway API Management Design, configure, and deploy API proxies, policies, and virtual APIs using Axway Amplify API Gateway and API ManagerDevelop and manage API lifecycle processes — design, publishing, versioning, deprecation, and retirementImplement security policies including OAuth2, JWT, API key management, rate limiting, and threat protectionConfigure and troubleshoot API Gateway filters, circuits, and policy chainsCollaborate with architects and developers to integrate APIs with backend systems using REST, SOAP, JMS, and MQSupport API onboarding for internal and external consumers, including partner integrationsMonitor API performance, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve production incidents (L2/L3 support)Participate in code reviews, environment promotions (DEV → SIT → UAT → PROD), and release managementPrepare technical documentation, API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger), and runbooksWork within Agile/Scrum delivery models and coordinate with onshore/offshore and client stakeholdersRequired Skills & Experience3–5 years of total IT experience, with 3+ years dedicated to Axway API Management (API Gateway, API Manager, API Portal)Strong understanding of API security standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, mTLS)Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSLT, and messaging protocols (JMS, MQ)Good hold in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle)Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Shell/Groovy/Python — good to have)Understanding of API governance, versioning strategies, and API monetization conceptsExposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plusGood to have: exposure to IBM DataPower, MuleSoft, or other API Gateway platformsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work directly with client teamsSoft SkillsStrong verbal and written communication for client-facing consulting engagementsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven consulting environmentTeam collaboration and mentoring capability for junior consultantsTotal Experience Expected: 04-06 years BE/ BTECH At our organization, we are committed to fighting against all forms of discrim...
