ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a Brand Strategist to lead the strategy practice at Nen.

The work centers on brand strategy for our branding engagements — positioning, narrative, audience, messaging, and the underlying point of view that gives a company its voice in the world. From there, the strategy extends into the marketing and copywriting that brings each brand to life across websites, decks, launch campaigns, and the various touchpoints our clients ship. You'll lead client engagements end-to-end, from discovery and research through final execution, working with founders who are often figuring out what they stand for and how to talk about it in public for the first time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Lead brand strategy engagements for our branding clients — positioning, narrative, audience, messaging frameworks, brand voice, and identity briefs

- Run discovery and research to get to a strategy: founder interviews, audience research, competitive landscape, brand audits, and stakeholder workshops

- Develop marketing strategy for clients across launch campaigns, content programs, channel mix, and go-to-market storytelling, building on the brand foundation

- Write copy across websites, decks, brand books, launch materials, and other touchpoints — landing pages, manifestos, product narratives, taglines, and short-form social

- Brief and partner with our brand designers and creative leads so that strategy translates cleanly into identity, design, and the rest of the work we ship
