THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Business Development Lead to position Monad Foundation’s efforts to build out the Financial Institutions vertical. This is an entrepreneurial, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives on building from zero, identifying opportunities, forming partnerships, and creating momentum around real financial usage on the blockchain.

This is a dual-mandate role. On one side, you will own Monad's financial institution relationships — building the pipeline, advisor network, and institutional narrative that positions Monad as the chain of choice when banks, exchanges, and market infrastructure providers evaluate where to build on-chain. On the other hand, you will own the operational backbone of Monad's institutional communications function — keeping stakeholders informed, tracking ecosystem and token health, and ensuring this function runs with consistency and quality.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS – BD & ADVISORY

- Build and manage a structured pipeline of target financial institutions — banks, exchanges, clearing houses, asset managers, and market infrastructure providers (e.g CME, ICE/NYSE, DTCC, Nasdaq etc) — tracking each organization across stages of engagement: awareness, evaluation, pilot, and committed.

- Develop deep, trust-based relationships with senior decision-makers at major financial institutions, with a focus on the individuals and teams responsible for blockchain strategy, digital assets, and infrastructure decisions.
