About the Role We are seeking a Business Teacher who is passionate about preparing high school students with the financial literacy, entrepreneurial thinking, business knowledge, and career-readiness skills necessary to thrive beyond high school. The Business Teacher will design and deliver rigorous, engaging, and relevant instruction in courses including Personal Finance and Entrepreneurship, helping students connect classroom learning to real-world financial decisions, business concepts, career pathways, and postsecondary opportunities. This educator will create inclusive and project-based learning experiences that develop students' critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, financial decision-making, and professional skills. Working closely with the College & Career Readiness team and other instructional staff, the Business Teacher will help students develop the confidence and practical knowledge necessary to successfully navigate college, careers, entrepreneurship, and adult life. What You’ll Do Deliver Engaging, Real-World Business & Financial Literacy Instruction Plan, teach, and assess Business courses, including Personal Finance, Entrepreneurship, and other business or career-readiness courses as assigned. Develop rigorous and engaging lessons that connect business concepts to real-world applications and students' future goals. Teach essential financial literacy concepts, including budgeting, saving, credit, banking, investing, taxes, debt management, and responsible financial decision-making.
