This role is essential in ensuring pupils, staff, and visitors receive high-quality, nutritious meals served with care, efficiency, and attention to detail.You will be joining Holroyd Howe, one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, providing fresh, innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges. Key Responsibilities:Support the preparation, service, and presentation of food to a high standardMaintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and service areasAssist with food labelling, temperature checks, and allergen controlsProvide excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitorsSet up and clear service areas, ensuring smooth day-to-day operationsFollow all food safety, health & safety, and safeguarding proceduresContribute to hospitality events and occasional out-of-hours functions Candidate Profile:Ideally have experience working within contract, or high-volume cateringPossess a good Health & Safety knowledgeFlexible with a can-do attitude, customer-focusedFun and enthusiasticHave excellent organisation skillsDemonstrate great attention to detailBe a team player and enjoy succeeding as a teamPossess great customer service skillsHave a flexible approach to workExperience isn’t essential, as full training will be provided.
