Through a robust stakeholder feedback loop and supported by consistent processes and leadership, we take pride in delivering responsive, fair and professional service with empathy and efficiency. How you will create an impactThis role is an integral part of AIG’s Business Package team which is made up of a team of 8 Examiners in Australia and reports to the Claims Manager, Business Package, Australia. Our business package is a market leader in its field and unique in having both Property and Casualty responsibility. Manage a portfolio of Complex SME Property and Casualty claims (reasonable volume 120-160) in a proactive, efficient, cost-effective manner, while delivering a high-quality service to customers. Developing commercial relationships with internal/external stakeholders including brokers and customers.Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:To resolve claims within your authority in a cost-effective manner by ensuring that claims are accuratelyTake a proactive approach to claims management i.e., determining at earliest juncture indemnity, liability, and quantum with a view to actioning matter to finalisation.Manage external service providers retained by AIG or the insured to ensure cost effective outcomes and compliance with agreed service commitmentsBuild and maintain good relationships with colleagues, other AIG personnel, clients, brokers, sponsors, and other external partiesWhat you’ll need to succeedYou are now ready to demonstrate your acquired experience as a Liability and/or Property Claims examinerYou may be a Junior Lawyer in Private Practice that is looking to work for an InsurerStrong communication skills with ability to adapt as the need requiresProblem solving skills with strategic planning and executionAbility to drive outcomes in a proactive mannerAble to work autonomously but within a team environmentAppreciation of different stakeholder’s interests both internally and externally with a willingness to assist as requiredOpen minded, inclusive and reasonableness in approach in dealings with all claims related partiesApplicants must have full time working rights to be considered for this position as employer sponsorship is not available.Ready to make a bigger impact?
