Our medical devices, software and related services are used worldwide to diagnose and treat patients suffering from serious cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions.Location: Central Europe (remote/hybrid)Reporting to: EMEA Compliance & Privacy LeadTravel: 10–15% across EuropeContract: PermanentAbout the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a compliance or privacy professional to develop expertise in both GDPR/data privacy and healthcare compliance within the medical device industry. You'll partner closely with business teams across EMEA, providing practical, solutions-focused guidance and supporting key compliance and privacy initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesData Privacy (GDPR)Support GDPR and data privacy projects across EMEA.Assist with data mapping, Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), and DPIAs.Advise on lawful processing of personal and health data.Support GDPR training, data subject rights processes, international data transfers, and privacy-by-design initiatives.Collaborate with Legal, IT, HR, Marketing, Sales, Clinical, and Product teams.Healthcare ComplianceSupport ZOLL's healthcare compliance program in line with AdvaMed and MedTech Europe Codes.Advise on compliant interactions with healthcare professionals and organizations.Assist with compliance training, risk assessments, and mitigation activities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in law, Information Security, Data Management, Life Sciences, or a related field.2-3+ years' experience in data privacy, compliance, or a related area.Strong understanding of GDPR, including health data, DPIAs, data subject rights, and international transfers.Privacy or compliance certification (CIPP/E, CIPM, CCEP, etc.) is preferred.Experience or strong interest in medical devices, healthcare compliance, or regulated industries.SkillsStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business guidance.Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong project management capabilities.Fluent English required; German, French, Spanish, or Italian is an advantage.What ZOLL OffersExposure to international GDPR and compliance programs.Development of specialist expertise in privacy and medical technology.Opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a growing global organization.Career growth within an experienced EMEA Compliance & Privacy team#LI-AK1
