Work of this class involves supervising skilled, semi-skilled and laboring personnel.Incumbents receive general supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek, subject to evening, weekend and holiday hours as required on a 24-hour on-call basis. Work is performed outdoors and in conduit trenches where incumbents may be exposed to inclement weather, traffic hazards and high voltage electrical cable.
