This role will also develop and drive strategic practices within our organization and industry!Responsibilities/Expectations:Provides project leadership to establish project strategies, plans and construction execution philosophyPerforms the review and acceptance of the contractor's construction schedule, budget; ensures contract changes are in accordance with its requirementsEnsures safety, health and environmental regulations/permit requirements are being adhered by our employees and contractorsExpedites engineering and procurement to support constructionLeads construction closeout, including preparation of data books, project completion reports, and lesson learnedDevelops an enterprise construction quality program and ensures compliance with the inspector qualification program, contract permits, and stipulationsMentors othersOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience: Required: High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of twelve (12) years’ related experience on small to mega projects including a minimum seven (7) years on large to mega projectsPreferred: Bachelor’s degreePhysical and Environment Work Requirements:Must be willing to: Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spacesCarry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as neededStand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of timeWork at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)Use hand toolsOther Requirements: Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving recordDemonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis in Excel, PowerPoint and WordPreferred: Experience in process facility construction or pipeline construction#LI-KR2Why Houston?Big career opportunities in one of the world’s energy capitals, endless food spots and a diverse vibe—all without paying NYC or LA prices.
