The Coordinator, A&R will support the effectiveness and efficiency of the A&R team by providing general administrative support & A&R project coordination. They will gain exposure to and then play a role in the process of finding and acquiring recording artists, songs and producers as well as leading artist development efforts for designated artists in their genre. What you'll do: Find and acquire recording artists, songs and producers through demos, recordings and live performances. Provide administrative support to the A&R team. Cultivate relationships with artists and representatives. Solicit producers and coordinate meetings with artists and producers. Attend recording, mixing and mastering sessions to develop an ear for singles and key tracks. Who you are: 1-3 years of experience in A&R. Strong communication skills. Ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects throughout the day. Able to work across multiple departments successfully. Ability to understand, manage and forecast budgets. Must be willing and able to attend concerts, artist appearances, and photo and video shoots as requested.
