This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction, equipment reliability, and service excellence through timely on-site support and a strong customer-focused approach. Position Summary The Customer Engineer (ATM CE) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of electromechanical systems within an assigned service territory. This field-based role requires strong technical expertise, independent problem-solving, and excellent customer service capabilities. The position involves responding to service calls, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting equipment lifecycle activities to ensure optimal system performance and uptime. Key Areas of Responsibility Performing customer installations, maintenance, and service calls in a timely and effective manner Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems Executing preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and full system overhauls as required Dismantling legacy machines in the warehouse and test individual components for functionality and reuse Managing assigned territory efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet service level agreements Maintaining accurate service documentation and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Solid understanding of electromechanical systems and structured troubleshooting methodologies Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills relevant to field service environments Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel within an assigned territory Preferred Qualifications Previous experience servicing ATMs, self-checkout systems, or similar electromechanical equipment Field service experience in a customer-facing technical role Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and service management tools Additional technical certifications related to electronics or electrome...
