Description
The D365 CE Senior Technical Consultant designs, configures, extends, tests, and supports Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions. This role works under the guidance of a Technical Lead or Solution Architect while independently owning assigned technical work packages, integrations, automation, data migration tasks, and build documentation.
Core Responsibilities
Configure and extend Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse using model-driven apps, forms, views, business rules, business process flows, security roles, Power Automate, and reusable solution components.
Develop client-specific extensions using JavaScript, plug-ins, custom APIs, Power Platform CLI, C#, Azure Functions, and integration services when configuration alone is not sufficient.
Build, test, and troubleshoot integrations with ERP, marketing, external web portals, document management, reporting, and other enterprise systems.
Assist with data migration activities including mapping, transformation logic, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
Participate in fit-gap sessions, technical design reviews, sprint planning, demos, UAT support, defect triage, deployment planning, and go-live readiness activities.
