You will work under the guidance of a Senior Analyst and Manager to bridge the gap between "raw data" and "business answers." You are the engine of execution — someone who has mastered the technical basics and is now navigating the complexities of business requirements and cross-functional collaboration.This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) role based in our London office (hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week).You Will:Assist in workshops with business/compliance teams to document user requirements, business rules, and reporting requirementsCreate and maintain data dictionaries and source-to-target mapping documents to ensure everyone speaks the same "data language"Map out existing business processes to identify where data is captured and where it is missingWrite and optimise modular SQL queries to transform raw data into "analyst-ready" tablesPerform initial exploratory data analysis (EDA) to flag inconsistencies, null values, or outliers to the Senior Analysts and Data EngineersRun the primary tests for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), comparing expected outcomes against newly built solutionsBuild and iterate on data visualizations (Tableau, Mode, PowerBI, etc.) based on business requirements, established wireframes, and functional specsMonitor existing dashboards for performance issues or data freshness, troubleshooting and fixing logic errors as they ariseYou Have:2–4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar technical-functional roleAbility to take a structured task and identify the necessary logic, filters, and edge cases (e.g., how to handle partial months) independentlyEnthusiasm for using AI (LLMs) to speed up SQL writing, debug code, and draft initial documentation templatesStrong SQL and/or Python or R skills; ability to manipulate and handle large volumes of data, work across data from disparate sources and environment...
