The best candidates will have experience working in a similar role where they are familiar with supply chain and logistical best practices. Most importantly, you must be willing to do whatever it takes to make our team successful on any particular day. You must like being extremely busy, active, and working with people in a variety of roles.Your DayCoordinate, receive, and document deliveries ranging from UPS and FedEx packages to multi-truck, dedicated shipments requiring heavy equipment to offloadPack and ship equipment as necessary.Utilize a variety of systems in the daily processes of receipts, shipments, and inventory management.Maintain a safe, very organized and clean loading dock and staging area.Evaluate the condition of receipts and coordinate any follow-up actions should there be damageOrder and stock office and breakroom suppliesYou Must HaveA positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to be great at your jobExperience working in shipping and receiving department or warehouse position for at least 3 yearsThe ability to execute manual tasks and lift up to 50 poundsExperience using equipment typical to a role like this including powered forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, packaging tools and materials, etc.Familiarity with Google Tools (Gmail, Docs, Forms)Basic knowledge of Excel manipulations and formulasDetailed problem-solving skillsThe material job duties and responsibilities of this role include those listed above as well as adhering to Yahoo policies; exercising sound judgment; working effectively, safely and inclusively with others; exhibiting trustworthiness and meeting expectations; and safeguarding business operations and brand integrity.At Yahoo, we offer flexible hybrid work options that our employees love!
