Position Summary: As a Data Engineer on the Bid-to-Bill Operations Engineers team, you will sit at the intersection of software engineering, customer operations, and market execution. You'll work directly with customers and internal teams to solve complex production challenges, investigate issues, improve system reliability, and build automation that eliminates repetitive work. Our customers depend on Yes Energy to run critical market operations involving settlements, billing, scheduling, and energy transactions worth millions of dollars each day. Success in this role is not measured by lines of code written. It is measured by making systems more reliable, reducing operational friction, improving customer outcomes, and creating leverage for the broader organization. Primary Responsibilities: Partner directly with customers to investigate and resolve complex operational and technical issues. Serve as a trusted technical resource during production incidents and customer escalations. Identify recurring operational problems and build automation to eliminate them.
