Job Family:Data Science ConsultingTravel Required:Up to 10%Clearance Required:Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do:Our consultants on the AI and Data Defense and Security team help clients maximize the value of their data and automate business processes. This high performing team works with clients to implement the full spectrum of data analytics and data science, from data querying and wrangling to data engineering, to data visualization, dashboarding, and business intelligence (BI), to predictive analytics. Our services enable our clients to define their information strategy, enable mission critical insights and data-driven decision making, reduce cost and complexity, increase trust, and improve budget justifications and decision-making. This individual will support organizational and mission goals within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This role requires hands on technical expertise and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Design and development of data visualization and dashboard solutions to provide required analytics insights using Power BILeading and reviewing, data cleaning scripts using tools such as PythonMaintain and enhance dashboards, analytics solutions, and reporting tools used in operational and strategic decision-makingBalance competing priorities including to supporting quick turn and ad hoc requestsFocus on client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional developmentSupport business development (such as RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers), internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional developmentWhat You Will Need:Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS Public TrustBachelors DegreeFIVE (5) or more years of experience in data analytics, data science, business analytics or data engineeringWhat Would Be Nice to Have:Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiencesExperience working with financial and budget dataStrong UI/UX capabilities for dashboard developmentFamiliarity with PowerAppsFamiliarity with cloud-based analytics environments (such as, Databricks, Palantir, AWS, Azure, or Google)Experience performing analytics and data transformation using Python and RAbility to gather requirements and present to clients with strong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools for data integrationExperience with budget, financial management, and workload modelingThe annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00.
