Job Description:Job Title – Database Administrator The Purpose of Your RoleResponsible for managing Fidelity Brokerage’s Db2 on z/OS Platform along with Aurora PostgreSQL and Aerospike on AWS.The Value You DeliverAs part of this role, the DBA will be responsible for the below key responsibilities:Providing Application Database and Replication support for a large DB2 z/OS sysplex environmentProviding Application Database and Data Migration support for an established cloud-based database infrastructureSQL tuning and Performance on both Db2 and PostgreSQLMaintenance of Databases – Utilities managementProviding 12x7 on-call supportDatabase Engineering The Skills that are Key to this roleExtensive experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large complex Database EnvironmentExtensive experience in SQL, JCL, COBOLExperience in Qrep and IIDR replication products The Skills that is good to have for this roleKnowledge of DB2 LUW on LINUX/UNIXExperience on CA Platinum toolsExpertise in distributed technologies (Linux, VSCode, Git, Jenkins) including AWS based Aurora PostgreSQLExpertise in AWS concepts and services like IAM, SSO, KMS/CMK, PG, PHZ, VPC, Route53, RDS, RDS-Proxy, Lambda, S3, EBS,CloudWatch, DMS, EC2, AMI, rehydration, etc. and provisioning themHow Your Work Impacts the OrganizationFAE (Fidelity Architecture & Engineering) provides a wide range of brokerage technology solutions for BRT,FIT and IWMS technology and business partners.
