Working alongside Defence and Navy stakeholders, you will support the development, definition and delivery of complex maritime capability outcomes. You will apply your expertise in Defence capability management, maritime operations, project delivery and stakeholder engagement to develop and review the processes, documentation and artefacts required to progress capability outcomes. You will operate as a trusted advisor to clients, translating complex operational, technical and strategic information into clear recommendations and decision-ready material. You will help shape capability solutions, support delivery activities, and work across Defence and industry stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. Our Ideal Candidate: You are an experienced Defence professional who understands how complex maritime capability is defined, developed and delivered. You bring strong domain knowledge, strategic thinking and the ability to operate confidently across operational, technical and strategic environments. You are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, leading delivery activities, and producing high-quality outputs that support Defence decision-making. You will bring: Demonstrated experience in Defence capability management, capability development, capability realisation, or a closely related discipline Strong understanding of the including how capability decisions progress through the Defence capability lifecycle Experience developing and reviewing Defence capability artefacts, including briefs, submissions, governance material, requirements documentation, capability plans or related products Ability to analyse complex information, identify key issues and provide clear, practical advice to senior stakeholders Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create concise and compelling documentation for senior audiences Demonstrated experience leading projects, workstreams or consulting engagements in complex Defence environments Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across Defence, industry and technical communities Highly regarded experience includes: Experience supporting naval capability development, combat systems, engineering, sustainment or acquisition programs Experience working with Navy, the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) or Naval Shipbuilding and ...
