In Hong Kong, our Design & Build department is known for its integrated delivery model, combining strategic design thinking with rigorous project execution to create high-performing, sustainable, and human-centric workplaces.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Design Manager or Senior Design Manager to join our Design & Build team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary design efforts across a diverse portfolio of corporate office projects—from small fit-outs to large-scale headquarters—ensuring design excellence, client satisfaction, and seamless integration with construction delivery.This role requires strong leadership, fluency in local and international design practices, and deep familiarity with the design-and-build project delivery model. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative design professional who can inspire teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive projects from concept through to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of designers and technical staff, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.Serve as the lead designer on assigned projects, ensuring alignment with client brand, functional requirements, sustainability goals, and budget.Drive creativity and storytelling to create compelling proposals and projectsOversee documentation, contractor communication and site works together with our internal and external consultants.Collaborate closely with JLL’s project management, cost consultancy, sustainability consultancy and construction teams to deliver fully integrated design-and-build solutions.Manage all phases of the design process—including programming, concept design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation—in coordination with internal and external consultants.Liaise effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and authorities, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure compliance with Hong Kong building regulations, fire safety codes, accessibility standards, and green building certifications (e.g., BEAM Plus, WELL, LEED)....
