Director, Electronic Trading Product

We are seeking a Director to join the Equity Product and Trading Solutions team at FCM. In this role, you will help drive the development and evolution of our core electronic trading infrastructure, including order management and routing, FIX connectivity, market data, and risk controls. A key focus of this position will be leading the buildout of critical capabilities for a new equity trading offering targeted at our professional (pro) client segment, partnering closely with internal stakeholders from early concept through delivery and launch. As an integral member of the product team, you will work closely with technology, trading consultants, operations, risk, compliance, legal, data science, and other internal partners to deliver scalable, differentiated electronic trading solutions for the pro client segmentThe Expertise and Skills You Bring Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, detail-oriented mindsetOwning the end-to-end execution cost framework, including platform logic, venue maintenance, fee schedules, reporting, and analysisModernizing and future-proofing the cost-plus pricing model to support evolving use cases, new client tiers, and appropriate controls and auditabilityBuilding, maintaining, and scaling direct API connectivity for order entry defining endpoints, entitlements, authentication, throttles and throughput expectationsFamiliarity with electronic equity trading concepts and market structure (a plus, not required)Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing, cross‑functional product delivery squads using modern product management practicesStrong understanding of the technical and operational components and workflows associated with electronic equity trading productsProven ability to act as the voice of the customer, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technology teamsSelf-starter who embraces pace over perfection and enjoys working in a fast-paced environmentTeam-oriented, positive, and forward-thinking, with a passion for building innovative trading solutionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical topics to diverse audiencesStrong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneouslyIntellectually curious, with a strong desire for continuous learningSeries 7 and 63 licenses required within 6 months of hireThe TeamThe Product and Trading solutions mission is to build resilient, automated trading products that create a frictionless client experience, power new business opportunities, and manage risk for responsible, scalable growth.
