We are seeking a passionate Director, Healthcare Compliance Counsel to join our growing team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma Compliance Team, you will play a crucial role in the development of Compliance Programs and supporting the business in healthcare-related activities in HQ as well as in our EU direct and International Markets. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.You will be joining the Compliance Team consisting of 7 Compliance colleagues, 1 Enterprise Risk Management colleague and 1 ESG specialist and report directly to SVP, Compliance, Risk & Corporate Responsibility, who is based in Copenhagen. You will be based in Copenhagen as well.Your key responsibilities will be:Act as Business Partner for our International Markets in relation to all Compliance related matters, including conducting legal review of materialsSupport the legal Compliance work in Global Functions Develop, update and maintain policies, procedures and forms to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Delivering face-2-face compliance training to our colleagues.Compliance monitoring.Qualifications and skills:You have a relevant academic degree as well as solid experience.Furthermore, you have:At least 10+ years’ experience in a Legal Compliance role within the pharmaceutical industry and with international exposure, including massive experience in managing HCP-related activities and conducting legal review of materials.You hold a legal background.A record of accomplishment of efficiently and effectively working and collaborating across a matrix organization in a global organization, both from a global as well as an affiliate perspective.Excellent cultural understanding and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels of an organization.Ability to manage multiple requirements and remain composed under pressure.Professional maturity and impeccable ethics and integrity.Proficiency in the Eng...
