Director, People Business Partners
Space is a warfighting domain. True Anomaly seeks those with the talent and ambition to build the technology that secures it. OUR MISSION True Anomaly delivers decisive capabilities for space superiority. We build autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors — enabling the U.S. and its Allies to secure the space environment and counter threats from the ultimate high ground. OUR VALUES Be the offset. We create asymmetric advantages with creativity and ingenuity. What would it take? We challenge assumptions to deliver ambitious results. It’s the people. Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together. YOUR MISSION True Anomaly is scaling fast. The People Business Partner (PBP) function has to be more than a service layer that shows up when something breaks — it has to be a strategic force that leaders trust with their hardest calls, before those calls become problems. We're looking for a Director of People Business Partners to lead that team. This is not a coordination role. It's a trust-building role. Your team earns trust by being direct, discreet, and right more often than not. People Ops, Talent, and Total Rewards build their programs with your team's input, because your PBPs understand what will actually land with their orgs. That's the muscle you're building. Everything below is in service of it. RESPONSIBILITIES Build the team and the craft. Hire, coach, and grow a team of PBPs who can operate at this level. Teach the difference between being helpful and being a trusted advisor. Push your team past task execution into real judgment — knowing when to challenge a leader, when to just listen, when to escalate. Own the relationship with the exec team.
