Director, Social Media Advertising & Analytics
Summary:The ASPCA is seeking a strategic, data-driven leader to oversee and advance our paid social media and analytics capabilities. The Director, Social Media Advertising and Analytics will design and scale paid social media programs that grow awareness, drive engagement and maximize conversions while establishing a measurement framework to gather core insights from paid social campaigns to inform decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Director, Social Media and Online Influencer Engagement Strategy, this role will serve as a key partner to the External Communications, Marketing, Development and Program teams; translating performance data into actionable paid social strategies that deepen audience connection and advance mission impact. The ideal candidate is both a performance marketer and a storyteller, equally comfortable optimizing campaigns in-platform and presenting clear, compelling insights to key stakeholders. In addition to leading paid media strategy and analytics, this role will manage and mentor a Manager, Social Media Advertising Strategist and oversee budget allocation. Strategies are developed based on target audiences and organizational priorities across owned, earned and paid media and channels. What You’ll Do The Director of Social Media Advertising and Analytics reports directly to the Senior Director, Social Media and Online Influencer Engagement Strategy and has one direct report. Where and When You’ll Work This is a hybrid position and will require one day a week on-site at the ASPCA’s 8th Avenue Office in New York City. Schedules are subject to change as needed by the ASPCA Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% annually, as needed. What You’ll Get CompensationStarting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, training, experience, location, business needs, internal equity, market demands or budgeted amount for the role. The target hiring range is for new hire offers only, and staff compensation may increase beyond the maximum hiring range based on performance over time.
