The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. This role will be based in Mountain View, CA. The Enterprise Infrastructure Engineering (EIE) team builds and operates the Compute, Storage, Network, and Public Cloud infrastructure that powers LinkedIn’s enterprise platforms and services. The team delivers reliable, secure, and cost-efficient foundations across offices, data centers, and Azure, enabling critical business systems and modern CI/CD platforms for internal applications. We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to own strategy, execution, and outcomes for LinkedIn’s enterprise infrastructure. This leader will be responsible for the end-to-end portfolio across network (Wi-Fi, VPN, global sites), compute and storage (Windows/Linux Servers and Endpoints, data services, identity), and Azure tenants/regions, including CI/CD platforms supporting internal applications like LangSmith, AI integrations, and enterprise data pipelines. Roles and Responsibilities:Define and drive a multi-year technical infrastructure vision across network, compute, storage, and Azure, balancing reliability, security, velocity, and cost efficiency.Own service reliability for global network, routing, firewall telemetry, and identity/access pathwaysDrive AI transformation and automation for Infra, developer velocity, and operations  Partner with InfoSec to harden posture (e.g., device identity, AAA, policy enforcement), complete rollouts with high compliance across global interfaces.Lead Azure governance for tenants, subscriptions, and shared services; scale visibility dashboards, cost guardrails, and remediation workflows in partnership with platform teams.Drive Zero Trust initiatives to modernize remote and enterprise access; coordinate cross-functional execution spanning network architecture, client upgrades, and policy refactoring.Oversee Infra migrations with predictable delivery and minimal user impactProvide direction for internal CI/CD platforms that serve enterprise applications (e.g., integrations for agent workflows, data pipelines) to improve developer velocity and operational rigor.Help lead the strategy ...
