Drug Production, Associate Manufacturing Specialist
Regeneron is currently looking for a Biotech Production Specialist to join our Global Manufacturing team. Regeneron successfully manufactures a range of biopharmaceuticals for patients worldwide, including our approved therapeutic proteins and those involved in clinical studies. In this role, you will focus on manufacturing life changing medicines for patients around the world while working in a clean room environment.When & where:Location: Rensselaer, New York, United StatesWork model: We offer multiple shifts that are 4 working days (10 hours), with potentially 1-2 weekend daysOther requirements: Occasional flexibility may be requested for on-call schedule/weekend workWhat you'll do:Cover all facets of drug production in a clean room including cell culture and purification of monoclonal antibodiesComplete and review batch records and logbooks in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Perform in-process sampling and analysis of buffer solutions, cell culture, and drug substanceOperate automated equipment such as bioreactors, chromatography columns, and filtration skidsSupport equipment start-up, troubleshooting, and validationPartner with R&D teams to implement new drug manufacturing processes and technologiesWork in a fast-paced setting where your priorities can quickly change based on the needs of the business and our patientsOperate in a highly regulated environment strive to continuously improve processes and maintain compliance to manufacture safe and effective medicines for patientsUse computerized systems for daily performance of tasksThe environment and physical rhythms of the role:Gowning: Full cleanroom attire (Examples may include: including laundered undergarments, gown, facemask, hairnet, safety glasses, safety shoes and booties, latex gloves and the use of sanitizing agents during gowning process including IPA)Ability to remove jewelry, make-up and nail adornments when wearing cleanroom attireAbility to perform physical requirements for entirety of shift (up to 10 hours) in a clean room environmentSome physical requirements can include but not limited to: bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, reaching, reaching overhead, sitting, squatting, walking, standing, driving, hand manipulation and ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbsLet's find out if we're a fit:HS diploma + 4 years of relevant work experience is requiredOr AS, BS or BA in Life Sciences or related fieldLevel will be determined based on experienceThrive today.
