The Duty Plant Operator operates and monitors the 24-hour Facilities Operation Center. This position initiates corrective action in trouble or emergency situations by dispatching appropriate staff for various HVAC equipment, mechanical equipment, boilers, fire and elevator alarms, and other services.  This is a 24/7 operations support position that includes overnight and weekend hours and is subject to shift differential pay. This position requires the employee to be in the office and or customer-facing for all hours worked.About UsAs the landlord for all facilities owned by Maricopa County, the Facilities Management Department is responsible for the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operations of more than 200 facilities comprised of over 10 million square feet.
