With a wide variety of people, global locations, technologies and products, 3M is a place where you can collaborate with other curious, creative 3Mers.This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career.3M is seeking an EHS Engineer located in Quapaw, Oklahoma.  At 3M, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter.  Here, you go.The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleThe person hired for the position will be a member of the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team and will provide environmental expertise, team projects, the plant using data-based tools and methodologies. This role includes but not limited to: internal and external audits, environmental reporting, and plant specific data analysis.  It involves providing support in responding to agency requests, permitting efforts, environmental support to product development teams, and projects on environmental initiatives.  This position has responsibilities to ensure compliance.3M Springfield employees act with uncompromising ethics and integrity. We have a strong commitment to environmental health and safety, protecting both our employees and the environment for the future. Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Five (5) years of EHS experience a private, public, government or military environment including internship experience.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Seven (7) or more year of experience working in an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) role in a manufacturing environment addressingExperience in implementation of comprehensive EHS management systems.Experience with hazard and risk assessments and experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience with computer-based EHS tools for EHS data reporting and EHS assessments.Experience with local, state and federal regulations including (e.g., Fire, OSHA, EPA, etc.)Self-directed, detail oriented, good interpersonal, communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.Analytical, leadership, project planning, program development and deployment skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with all employees within the plant.Experience working on a cross-functional team.CSP, or CIH certification(s) or willingness to obtain.Location: Quapaw, OKTravel:  May include up to 5% domesticRelocation:  May be authorized     &...
