Turner & Townsend are seeking an Electrical Construction Manager with significant experience in the field overseeing contractors; committed to safety first, knowledge of design, construction, and operations; an understanding of owner representation and requirements; and detailed knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and project control techniques. The successful applicant will have a proven track record as an Electrical Superintendent / Construction Manager managing a Petrochemical, refinery, or other plant construction, as well as additions and interior renovations. *On site presence required The typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following: Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day project activities within the Electrical scope and resources to ensure projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Understanding of electrical project management principles, methods and techniques. Work collaboratively with site Safety leadership to support the application of principles and critical behaviors to develop a proactive Safety culture; Maintain openness, transparency and a continuing dialogue with colleagues and other stakeholders related to Safety systems, performance, and lessons learned. Establish and maintain a working relationship with the client, based on a commitment to industry leading customer service that results in complete customer satisfaction and future project opportunities. Conduct site visits to monitor the progress of construction, review status of work completed during the period covered, review that work is generally proceeding in a good and workmanlike manner and in general accordance with the approved drawings and specifications.
